When you are receiving a trip request , you will receive an audible notification as well as vibration. If you are on  a different app at the time, the allRiDi app will bring it self to the front of your phone .


You will notice a yellow box at the bottom of the app which displays the information about the incoming trip:

  1. Riders rating
  2. Your estimated distance away from rider
  3. Total rides taken by user
  4. Riders pickup location & Destination


To accept the trip, hit the accept button at the bottom of the request banner. 


The audible notification will always be at maximum volume even if your phone if on vibrate or silent. To adjust this:


  1. Tap the hamburger menu in the top left hand corner
  2. Tap on your name
  3. Toggle off "Turn on the ringtone volume at high volume when a trip is requested"


Please note that you will be unable to accept a trip request if your battery is below 10%


Once a trip has been accepted, please refrain from cancelling the trip as this creates an unpleasant experience for the rider. If you must cancel the trip due to circumstances beyond your control, example , personal emergency, flat tire, more traffic than anticipated, then please contact the rider first and inform them. A courtesy call goes a long way!
